NA, ML 6/6B/1863

Macon, Ga., June 6th 1863

Mr. Washington Sharp
Griswaldville, Ga.

Sir,
I am just informed that a train of 18 cars sent down to your station {Central (of Georgia) RR} for wood found no one to load, and was obliged to return without wood, although you had been notified (or Mr. Reynolds) the day before.
Such neglect entails most serious inconvenience upon me and upon the R. R. Co., and I shall be compelled to carry out our agreement by visiting any expense caused to the Government thereby upon you.
I am Sir,
Very Respy
J. W. Mallet Capt. &c
