| Gentlemen, |
| I have the honor to enclose herewith Copy
Extract from the proceedings of Council, February 25th 1858 Relative to
petition of Robert Fridlay, asking privilege to construct Rail Road
Track &c. |
| I Respectfully beg that your Honorable
Body Grant me (on behalf of the Confederate States of America) the same
privilege of laying said Track, on same conditions, as set forth in the
enclosed Copy Extract; Defining the Ground in Hawthorne Street, on which
said Track may be constructed and your petitioner will ever pray &c. |
