| Gentlemen, |
| I have seen the Superintendent of the M&W
R. R. {Macon & Western RR} about allowing
their cars to be taken up to Stone Mountain {18
miles east of Atlanta on the Georgia RR} to be loaded with Cut
Stone for the Armory; and he says that if the cars are so used, it will
be necessary for you to let us know then the Stone are ready, and we
will then attend to having the cars sent up. Be pleased to have the
Stone for the Armory carefully directed. I am informed that the Stone
belonging to Armory which was unloaded at the laboratory wee directed to
the latter place. |
