telegram -- Macon, Ga. 10 Sept. 1863. Many of our contractors are
willing to take hands, mules & carts to aid Danville &
Greensboro {Piedmont} R. R. Will you send
an agent or shall I come on? G. H. Hazlehurst. |
| Shall I telegraph him to come to Richmond,
or will it not save time for Capt. Myers or some agent subct'd by you,
to proceed south & make the necessary arrangements on the spot
with the contractors? |
