| I have received a letter from Mr. Talcott,
Supt. of the R. & D. R. R. {Superintendent,
Richmond & Danville RR} stating that another accident was very
near occurring again last evening at Rockfield station, owing to
carelessness in placing stone for the obstructions too near the track.
Mr. Talcott urgently requests that a perfectly reliable & careful
man be placed in charge at the above point & I most earnestly
endorse his request. |
