| A letter dated 7th June has
been received from E. P. Branch, Capt. & A. Q. M. Petersburg Va.
who wishes to know whether you contemplate changing at an early day,
the location of the Petersburg rail road connection, building a new
bridge for the same. {The connection between the
Richmond & Petersburg RR and the Petersburg RR.} |
| It seems that he is building a
warehouse & proposes to suspend operations until he is definitely
informed of your intentions. The Captain in his letter advocates
warmly the proposed change. By answering Capt. Branch directly or
communicating your views to this Bureau, you will greatly oblige. |
