| Owing to the interruption of Rail road
communications I am unable to meet your requisition for twenty five
kegs of six inch spikes for New river bridge {on
the Virginia & Tennessee RR}. You will be unable for some
time to continue your work, but should the spikes be rec'ded at some
future time, they will be forwarded. Please let me hear from you. |
