| I am instructed by the Hon Secy of War to
call upon you for fifty (50) additional hands to be employed in the
repair of the R{ichmond} & Petersburg
R. R. Please provide an overseer & rations for four days, and
order them to be at the Petersburg depot tomorrow morning at 6 o'clock
when transportation will be provided. It will be necessary under the
circumstances for them to work on Sunday. |
