| I resp'y request that a guard be furnished
for a force of impressed negroes who will be employed from 5 o'clock
this afternoon on the Basin, in unloading the R. R. {iron?}
intended for the repair of the Richmond & Petersburg R. R.
I would suggest that the guards be ordered to report to Col. C. F. M.
Garnett Commissioner &c at his office corner 10th & Bank st. |
