| I take the liberty of calling your
attention to the interview had with you in company with Capt. Myers in
regard to the Danville hands to be impressed to work either on the
Piedmont Rail Road or the fortifications. |
| The events of the past few days may very
naturally have effaced the matter from your recollection. Hoping that
you will now be able to give the subject your attention. |
