140 Horses & Harnesses complete for Pontoon Train. |
| "The Pontoon Train has been ordered
to the Black Water by Genl Longstreet. It has been, or will be, sent
to Franklin from Goldsboro' by RRd. If Genl L. should wish to move the
Train from that place (F) to points above, or below on the Black
Water, about 120 horses or mules will be essential. |
