| The Slave Claim Board having been ordered
to adjourn their sittings to Augusta Ga. it has been decided to add to
you present duty, that of disbursing officer for the same. A requisition
to have $150,000 of Appropriation for loss of Slaves impressed &c. &
$50,000 of Appropriation for loss of slaves impressed or voluntarily
sent &c has been made, with the request that the amounts be placed to
your credit with T. S. Metcalf, Depositary, Augusta, Ga. |
| Separate accounts current will be rendered
for all disbursements under each appropriation. |
