| I have the honor to enclose herewith a
letter recently received from Capt E. T. D. Myers C. S. Engineers, in
charge of Piedmont R. R. in reference to the detail of his Engineer
employees as endorsed by the Hon Sec of War, and a copy of the order
issued in March 1863, by the Hon Secretary in reference to the same
subject. |
| I respy request that orders in accordance with
the within endorsements of the Hon Secretary be issued to the conscript
officers of the Districts through which the Piedmont R. R. passes. |
