| Endorsement on letter of Alex Dudley Presdt Y R
RRd Co {Richmond & York River RR} in reference to the impressment of the portion of the hands of
Dr. Wm. E. Anderson now cutting wood on the line of the above RRD, who
have been impressed to work on the fortifications, and asking that the
said hands may be turned over to Major Whitfield to resume work. |
| "Mr. Pleasants, Sheriff of Henrico
County will allow "Dick" slave of Dr. Wm. E. Anderson, to
remain in his present employment, and count him as one of the quota of
hands called for to work on the fortifications around Richmond. |
