| Endorsement on telegram of Col. O. C. Boone
Agent &c Huntsville, Ala. Feb. 16th '63. No repairs to railroad, large
quantities of corn can be had if it was repaired. |
| "Respectfully returned to the Hon. Sec. of
War. A letter was written from this Bureau on the 4th inst. calling
Genl. J. E. Johnston's special attention to the importance of repairing
the within R. Rd. A copy of the letter has been enclosed to the Genl: to
day with a further statement that you deemed the mater one of
importance." |
