   For Bridge over Clinch River at Clinton, Mr. Mr. Maxwell contractor calls for bolts and 30 tons of pig iron.
   Bolts have been ordered. Ordnance Department counsels that impressment of pig iron be made in vicinity of Murfreesboro, Tenn. If pig iron cannot thus be obtained, Ordnance Dept. will furnish.  {The bridge was completed by Union forces in early 1864}
