C. Whiting Wilmington, N. C. has been informed that the iron of
the {Wilmington,} Charlotte & Rutherford R. Rd.
is the property of the State and
asks if this will not make a difference in the order of Novemb. 11th
&c. |
| "From the 3d paragraph of the
Adjutant & Inspector General's order No. 61 it is evident that the
fact of the iron alluded to within belonging to the State of North
Carolina, completely modifies Genl. Randolph's order of impressment." |
