| I have examined your accounts for the 1st
2d & 3d quarters 1863 and respectfully call your attention to the

| 2d Quarter. Voucher No 13. Ala & Ten
Rivers RR Co. Article XI para 964 says, "contracts shall be made in
quadruplicate, one to be kept by the officer, one by the contractor, and
two to be sent to the Military Bureau, one of which for the office of
the 2d Comptroller of the Treasury." As you have only sent one copy,
which is kept in the office you will please send the other for the
Comptroller. |

to show that Mr A M Goodwin is Secretary & Treasurer of the Ala & Ten
Rivers RR Co. and authorized to receipt for the money. |
