| Send Col. Hodges command to
this point as rapidly as the R. R. transportation
{East Tennessee & Virginia RR and Virginia & Tennessee RR} can be
furnished. It will be well to send part of the command from Bristol
while the balance is marching to Jonesboro or any other point on the RR
to which cars c??ht be sent for the force here. Such an arrangement
would save time. Instruct your Qr Mr and RR Agent to exert themselves .
We must have the whole command here in three days at the latest. |
