| The Maj Genl Comdg directs me
to say that you will furnish transportation for seven or eight hundred
barrels of flour {about 10 car loads} from
Salem to this place with as little delay as possible. The flour is in
the hands of Capt Jno Wade and J. H. Gugginhumir Agent (for Maj Carr) at
Salem. |
| The urgent necessity of having
the flour on hand for immediate issue induces the Maj Genl Comdg to
request that it be sent forthwith to Maj Carr, Chief Comsy at Dublin
Depot. |
