Supt of Gal & Houston RR  {Galveston, Houston & Henderson RR}

Sir,
   I am instructed by Maj Genl Magruder to say that you will accept the offer of Mr Morgan to sell the trees at (10) Ten dollars pr tree. The General, on second thought regards this as reasonable, being over 3 for one.
   There is, therefore, no necessity for impressment. This would be expensive. Lt Story of Col Dr Berry's Regiment, is given orders for impressment & directed to act in concert with you. Please show him this letter & say that his orders are countermanded.
I am, Sir, Very Respy
Your obt Svt
