| Your report of the 23rd Novbr
on RR connections has been submitted to the Maj. Genl. Comdg and meets
his entire approval. |
| The Comdg General instructs
that you continue to report from time to time the progress of the work
on the G. H. & T. C. R. R. Junction {Galveston &
Houston Junction RR}, though you will not assume in any manner
the direction of the work. |
| The Comdg Genl. authorizes the
detailing by you from the unarmed State Troops, of the Six Carpenters
desired, and orders have been issued to Maj. Gary, that the required
transportation for the R. R. iron, be furnished from Harrisburg to
Alleyton as fast as required, when such transportation shall not
directly interfere with the transportation of Troops. |
