| I am instructed by Major Genl
Magruder to say that it is of the utmost importance that he should have
"flat" here, and that you will send at once from the Central Rail Road
Six flats to Beaumont, to be sent directly by water to this place. I beg
to say that a communication on this subject was addressed to you several
days since, but I have received no reply yet. I fear it never reached
you. |
