n reference to charges for train on C&S R. R. I am directed by the Maj
Genl Comdg to say that he cannot consent to pay the amount charged, but
that he will pay the actual expenses of the train. If you prefer, he
will confer with Genl Lee on the subject, but cannot pay the Bill as now
charged. |
