| I authorize Mr L. W. Gabbert
to purchase ten thousand pounds of bacon & as much of lard in the
country north of Hernando {Mississippi & Tennessee
RR} and to transport the same by RR to Meridian he paying all
charges & freight, this upon the condition that said transportation
shall not interfere with public and that the necessary wagoning & the
purchase can be in your opinion safely executed. It is also to be
distinctly understood that the bacon & lard are exclusively for the use
of Ala & Missi rivers R. R. & in no manner for speculation. |
