   I am directed by the Lt Genl Commdg to inform you that there will be two trains of cars ready to take the remainder of the Brigade to Meridian. You will have the men on the cars ready to leave at 5 o'clock A. M. tomorrow morning. One train will be ready at the junction of the S. RR {Southern (of Mississippi) RR} with the NO RR {New Orleans, Jackson & Great Northern RR} near the Confederate House. The other at the Depot of the S RR at the foot of State Street. When you reach Meridian you will proceed either by Selma or Mobile, taking the cars of the road that will transport you first from Meridian. Promptness will be expected.
