| The Lieut Genl Comdg directs
that you cause the remaining men and baggage of Lynch's heavy battery to
be transported at once from Meridian to Vicksburg. This requires
immediate attention and it is to be hoped that you see that the men and
baggage referred to will be transported at once. |
