{Southern (of Mississippi) RR} is extremely bad order cannot
transport public property more trains would interfere. Cannot move sugar
at present am moving troops and subsistence. Find by experience that
other trains almost entirely prevents transportation of public stores.
As enemy is in force in front I need services of road for this Dept. |
