Special Requisition for 100 Bushels meal, 2000 lbs Bacon & 100 gills
syrup |

The above rations will be issued to Pen & Geo RR Co or
their agent in accordance with the agreement of the 1st May 1865 then
deemed necessary to insure the further operation of the Road.
Intelligence has been received of the surrender of this Dept, but to
prevent entire interruption of transportation & the consequent great
derangement of the necessary business of the community & State, the
agreement will be executed. |

The RR Co however must receipt for the rations at their
approximate market value so that if required an account may be rendered
& payment made to the proper authorities. By order of Maj Genl Sam
