Refd to Maj. H. R. Teasdale Chf Q. M. As this bridge was in
the first place destroyed by order of Maj. Gen. Anderson and
subsequently built by order of Gen. Anderson it is unjust to charge this
against the road. Or if to charge the bill should be balanced by a
credit for the bridge destroyed. The bill will be remitted (?). |
