From a letter received from Col. Sims Chie
of the R. R. Bureau and the absolute necessity of assisting the
transportation service, you are required to select from the detailed
machinists in your works and other detailed mechanics six machinists,
one blksmith and one moulder to report at once to the W&W R. R.
{Wilmington & Weldon RR} works. A list of
their names will be sent to this office. |
The Clarendon works in like manner will
send three machinists, 2 blk smiths and moulder to the same place also
sending list of names. It is necessary that this arrangement take effect
at once. |
