The Lieut General Comdg directs me to request you to report
in writing to this office as soon as practicable, what time will be
required to transfer the meat from Cuba Station to Mobile. He further
directs me to say that he wishes the meat placed in Mobile in the
quickest time possible, without risk of loss in the meat, the manner of
getting it to Mobile, that is to say the details of the entire matter,
are left to your control and direction. |
