| Dear Sir, |
| I am authorized to offer you
for a lot of twenty six Hhds of Sugar stored at this time in one of our
warehouses at this place 60c per lb for ex choice, 55c per lb for
choice, 50c for prime, and 40c per ob for common to be paid in money. If
you refuse the above named prices for your Sugar, compensation will then
be made according to the Act of Congress regulating impressments. You
are hereby notified that there can be no removal or transfer of the
aforesaid property until the completion of the negotiation for the sale
or appropriation thereof. |
