| I certify there is due from the
Confederate States to the Alabama & Florida R. Road Co. of Florida
the Sum of two Hundred and Seventy four thousand six hundred and
twenty two dollars and thirty six cents being for rail road iron,
chairs, spikes, frogs and switch stands, impressed for use of the
Confederate States during the months of July November and December
1862 and January 1863 by Col. S. Tate Military Superintendent, Lieut
Poole by orders of Genl Forney and Genl Leadbetter by orders of Genl
B?? amounting in all to 274622 36 dollars as per vouchers herewith.
