| Your favor of 5th August is at hand. I
remember when I last saw you that you said you would willingly pay
$100 per ton for Rail Road iron to complete the road to ??aron. At
first the price seemed to me extravagant, but upon examination it was
found it could hardly be laid down at that price. |
| It is now my expectation to visit your
state during this month, when I hope to see you and exchange views
upon rail roads and other matters. In the mean time I am yours |
