| Capt W A Reid A I G will make an
inspection along the line of the Rail road from Chickamauga to Atlanta
{Western & Atlantic RR}. He will inspect
the Train Guards, and see that they understand and execute the
purposes for which they are detailed. |
| He will enquire into the reasons of delay
in transporting stores to this army and in the arrival of stores after
being shipped. He will examine the Hospitals at Marietta & Atlanta and
urge upon the officers in charge the necessity of sending immediately to
this army all surplus nurses or attendants that may be at the Hospitals.
He will inspect the lists of detailed persons, take a note of the number
and by whom & when detailed in the Hospitals at Marietta & Atlanta. |
| He will ascertain the numbers and
character of details of men on duty with Quarter Masters on the line of
Rail Road and wither or not they have persons employed who are not
enlisted in the service of the Confederate States. |
