mechanics are detailed for duty in Quartermaster's Department as experts
and indispensable, and will report as designated: Sergeant H. E. Benson,
Company C, Ninth Virginia Cavalry, to Lieutenant Colonel F. W. Sims,
quartermaster, for duty in shops of Manassas Gap Railroad; S. H.
Williams, Company D, Thirtieth Virginia Volunteers, to superintendent
Richmond & Petersburg Railroad, in this city; H. L. Pangle, Company A,
Fourth Texas Volunteers, to superintendent Richmond & Petersburg
Railroad, in this city. |
