| You will proceed by the evening train in
company with Mr Beckwith to Running Water, and if necessary to Shell
Mound Tenn {Nashville & Chattanooga RR},
and take charge of the cars containing coal for this Arsenal. You will
use every exertion to get the cars forwarded promptly through, if
necessary, call upon the nearest Q. Master, for any desired assistance.
You will be expected to keep sight on the cars, from the time of
starting, and see that they are not left on the route. |
