On motion of M. Thatcher the following
ordinance was adopted: |
Be it ordained, that L. M. Nutt represent
the interest of the mayor and the trustees of the city of Shreveport
at a meeting of the president and directors of the Vicksburg,
Shreveport & Texas Railroad Co., and at the next meeting of the
stockholders of said company for the purpose of obtaining the consent
of the said president and directors, and of said stockholders to a
separation and disconnection between that portion of said railroad
east of Red river and that portion west of said river. |
