Dear Sir, |
***** |
Prest. Caldwell desires us to make you an
offer on your old Iron & scrap. We have on hand about 700 tons new
"T" Rails about 51 lb to the yard that we would be willing
to exchange or any portion of it, at a difference of Thirty dollars
per ton for U or T Rail or scrap and Twenty dollars per ton for Flat
or Chub Rail. You delivering your old Rails at Charlotte &
we the New on the Rail Road here, or we would purchase your old
materials at $32.50 for U or T Rails $30 for wrought scrap and Forty
dollars for flat Rails or old Chub & Tire, delivered also at
Charlotte, the wrought Scrap packed in Barrels. Let us hear your
decision as early as convenient, especially with regard to the
Exchange. |
