| We have yours 25th. We cannot supply any
wheels for 3 or 4 weeks, except doubleplate, of which we have some on
hand made in advance for the Memphis & Charleston RRd Co. Nor can
we stop our lathes & wheel borer to put them on at present those
tools being otherwise engaged. We can supply you the 33" double
plate wheels at $17.00 each and the only at 5 cents per pound cash
provided you can have them fitted in Charleston. We say Cash,
because we are now compelled to pay cash for every thing. We can
supply you Bar Iron at 4 cents per pound all delivered here. |
