| The Road Master having represented that
the Section Master West of Cow Pasture River had been out of active
employment since the destruction of the Bridge, but had still
remained on the work looking after the interests of the Company. It
was resolved on Motion of Mr Baylor, that he be allowed thirty
Dollars a month from the time he was settled with, until new
employment is furnished him |
| The Board authorised the President to
cooperate with the Presidents of other Companies in sending an agent
to Europe for the purchase of supplies |

| It being represented that a servant of
Maj Terrell exerted himself, on the occasion of the raid of the
enemy at Beaver Dam, to save the Passenger train from accident or
capture: -- It was Resolved that the President and Superintendent on
behalf of the Rail Road Company, give him a suitable reward for his
fidelity. |
