| The Board further resolved as
follows; |
| That debts due by this
company to citizens of the States now waging war against the Confederate
States of America except the States of Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky,
Missouri, & the District of Columbia, and interest warrants upon Bonds
held by any such persons at the date of the commencement of the existing
war, shall not be paid during the continuance of the war; and that the
officers & agents of this Company shall observe this resolution until
otherwise ordered by a resolution of this Board. |
