An Act making appropriations to carry into effect section two of an act approved May twenty-first, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, An Act entitled "An act to define with more certainty the meaning of an act entitled 'An act to fix the duties on articles therein named,'" approved March fifteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-one

   The Congress of the Confederate States of America do enact, That for the purpose of carrying into effect the second section of an act approved May twenty-first, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, entitled "An act to define with more certainty the meaning of an act entitled 'An act to fix the duties on articles therein named,'" approved March fifteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-one, the sum of two thousand three hundred and seventy-nine dollars and eighty cents be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be paid to Charles T. Pollard, President of the Alabama & Florida railroad company, being the difference between fifteen and twenty-four per cent. duty on railroad iron of the value of twenty-six thousand four hundred and forty-two dollars and twenty-six cents, withdrawn from warehouse at Pensacola, Florida, in the month of April, eighteen hundred and sixty-one.
