| A regular meeting of the Board of
Directors was held this day |

| On Motion Resolved, In testimony of the
valuable services rendered to this Company by Capt ETD Myers from the
time of the late raid of the enemy upon the Richmond & Danville Rail
Road, the Sum of Two thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby
appropriated. and tender to him, the acception of which is requested. |
| Resolved, The sum of Two thousand dollars
is hereby appropriated to be paid to Jas S Morrow for his prompt,
energetic & valuable services rendered the Richmond & Danville Rl Rd Co
during the recent raid of the enemy on this road, whilst he was in the
employment of the Piedmont Rail road Company. |
