| An adjourned meeting of the Board of
Directors was held this day |

| The President pro Tem made a report to the
Board, in which among other matters he recommended that the loan of
$1,000,000 from the C. S. A. Government be paid off by returning to the
Government the bonds of the Government to that amount be paid off by
returning to the Government the bonds of the Government to that amount,
and withdrawing our bond held by the Government & obtaining from the
Government a release of the lien held by the Government upon the road &
property of the Company & of the Piedmont Company, which was approved
and adopted. |
