| The Board of Directors met
pursuant to adjournment |
| The question of food being one of
paramount importance to the Company at this time, and the difficulty of
transportation on other roads being the chief obstacles to a supply:
Resolution That the President be authorised to appoint an agent,
whose duty is shall be to proceed south and make purchases for the road
to an extent not exceeding $150,000.00 One hundred & fifty thousand
dollars, and in order to facilitate the special transportation of such
supplies, said agent is authorised to guarantee to such other road as
may be employed the use of the trains of this road to an extent equal to
the transportation for miles of such road to recd |
