| You are hereby instructed to proceed to
the first crossing of Chickamauga Creek, counting from Chattanooga to
Atlanta on the line of the Western & Atlantic Rail Road and ascertain by
measurement the spans and plans in detail of each bridge structure on
the line of said Rail Road to Atlanta. You will report to the proper
Military Authorities who will please endorse this order. |
