| Mr. E. A. Smith informs me that you
require the freight paid on each shipment of lumber now being
transported over your Road. I have written to Maj J. T. Winnemore Q. M.
at Augusta requesting him to give transportation in accordance with the
amounts presented by you. Would it not be better to complete the
shipment, and then take transportation for the whole? |
