| The Dept. at Richmond requires from me a
certificate that you are authorized to receive and receipt for money
advanced to your Co. by the Confederate States, before allowing the
credit for the $60,000 paid to you. I suppose it will require a
resolution of the Board signed by the Presdt. and countersigned by the
Secy with the Seal of the Co. impresses. Please fix up the certificate
and forward by mail to me as early as possible. |
